Hi Bill. I wish you luck in getting some custody of your baby boy. I am all for dad's rights. I believe the laws need to be reviewed and updated. Good luck in your fight. You are going to be a great dad.

What a tragic situation for you and the baby. As someone with 2 kids I cannot imagine not wanting their Father involved even if we were apart. Keep fighting the fight and don't give up.

  Hi Bill....
I just wanted to say that I hope that your court date went well for you. As a single mother of a 4 month old little girl whose father decided that he didn't want to be a dad yet, I congratulate you on trying to be there for your son, I pray that it all works out for you soon! I am sorry for all that you are going through, but it is all worth it...your son will know one day that his daddy loves him sooo much and that you did everything for him, as well. Good luck in your efforts, may they bring you the happiness you seek.

Bill, I hope your day in court was a successful one. I am sickened to see an outdated law being used against a father who wants to be one. My prayers are with you! Best Wishes!

As a mother of a child born out of wedlock whose biological father has nothing to do with her, this really upsets me. There are so many fathers out there that want nothing to do with their child that it breaks my heart when a father isn't allowed to be a part of their child. It also makes me wonder why my husband is having such a hard time adopting my daughter now.

Being in Michigan myself, if there is anything I can do to help you, let me know.

Jenny

I am wishing you a successful day in court. There should be many more like you. Sometimes the laws in this country baffle me.
